Caroline

Caroline grew up in a family of animal lovers, especially her mum, whose passion for Siamese cats left a lasting impression. That love was passed down, but while cats always held a special place in her heart, dogs quickly became Caroline’s greatest passion. She has been fortunate to share her adult life with several dogs, each shaping her understanding of companionship, behaviour, and care.

Today, Caroline shares her home with two Leonbergers — true gentle giants of the dog world. Bugs, a striking male weighing 64kg, is larger than most females of the breed. Despite his impressive size, he is a sensitive soul who can be wary of strangers. Those lucky enough to enter his inner circle, however, are greeted with the affection of a long-lost friend. Titch, currently just four months old, is soaking up the world like a sponge. Bright, eager to learn, and wonderfully well-behaved, she is already showing great promise. Caroline is excited to guide her through adolescence and beyond, watching her grow into the dog she is destined to become.

Her feline family is just as full of personality. Cheya, a Siamese Havannah, is the sweetest of companions and never misses the opportunity for a warm lap. She is also the bravest of the cats, confidently strolling past the Leonbergers to claim her cuddle. Then there is Ron (Weasley), a mischievous red Oriental who keeps life entertaining. Like many ginger cats, he has a flair for chaos — stealing anything not nailed down and stashing his treasures beneath his favourite armchair, ensuring Caroline is never short of surprises.

Caroline is passionate about providing the most natural, balanced care possible for all her animals. She is an advocate of raw feeding and believes that a holistic approach, when thoughtfully combined with conventional veterinary medicine, can achieve wonderful results. She trains her dogs using positive, reward-based methods and attends weekly classes, continually expanding her knowledge and practical skills. She is particularly interested in how we, as humans, can better communicate with our pets — understanding their body language, emotional needs, and the influence of their environment.

Above all, Caroline believes that every animal is an individual. Her experience as a devoted pet owner shapes the care she provides, ensuring patience, empathy, and genuine understanding in every interaction. When your pets are in her care, they are treated as one of her own — with kindness, respect, and the attentive support they deserve

Sam

Sam lives in Carrbrook with her husband Andy, Son Jake and her two dogs; Bailey the rock worrying Cavapoo, who is the cuddliest fluffster and a loyal companion to boot, and Roscoe the Pattapoo is nuttier than a five-pound fruit cake, both of which have been part of her family from being tiny pups.

Prior to donning the walking boots every day and having the best job in the world Sam was an account manager for several companies including insurance and web builders. Sam has cared for a range of pets over the years including horses, snakes, rabbits, hamsters, cats, fish, gerbils, mice and of course dogs...

Sam loves all her customers pets as she would her own and appreciates every day with them all.

Mandy

Mandy lives in Lees with her family and a much-loved collection of four-legged companions. Animals have always been at the heart of her life. Growing up surrounded by pets, she carried that love into adulthood, turning what began as a passion into a way of life.

Over the years, Mandy has opened her home — and her heart — to animals who needed a second chance. Ben, the bouncy Cocker Spaniel, came to her when his owner could no longer care for him. Jake, an English Pointer she regularly boarded, became such a constant in her life that he eventually stayed for good. At one point, after discovering four abandoned kittens on a quiet country lane, Mandy found herself caring for seven cats — and loving every minute of it.

Today, her home is shared with Iona, her gentle 14-year-old English Pointer; Keeva, a lively three-year-old Bracco Italiano; and Cleo, a resilient cat who was heartbreakingly found abandoned in a bin as a kitten. Each of them has their own story, personality and place in Mandy’s heart.

After many years working in an office environment, Mandy chose to step away from the “treadmill” and follow what truly makes her happy — caring for animals. She understands that every pet is a cherished family member, because that’s exactly how she sees her own. Whether it’s long walks in the hills, patient companionship, or attentive, loving care, Mandy treats every animal as if they were part of her own family.

Her passion for animals has even inspired the next generation — her eldest daughter now works for an animal charity, continuing the family’s dedication to animal welfare.

For Mandy, pet care isn’t just a job — it’s a lifelong commitment, a privilege, and something she genuinely loves every single day.

Natalie

Natalie lives in Mossley with her partner Jonny and Son Toby. As a child she grew up in a household full of pets; cats, rabbits, hamsters and Ronnie the Rat. She now has two cats, Odin and Loki that she adopted four years ago and her Best pal Bertie the playful, water loving labradoodle.

Natalie has worked in childcare her whole adult life and has run her own childminding business for the past nine years. Natalie has now decided to combine her caring nature, love for animals and the great outdoors to make everyday an adventure with The pet care company.

Christine

Christine is a born and bred Mossley girl. She lives with her partner Simon, Blu, the very vocal Blue staffie, who is everybody’s friend for a treat, and Beau, a 14yr old RSPCA rescue cat. Beau came by default, because when Christine went to pick up her brother Harvey, she was the only kitten left and Christine couldn’t leave her on her own. Christine has had cats since owning her own home at 20.

Before joining the team, Christine had been working within the childcare sector for 17yrs. Now she has decided to change her career and instead of children she’s looking after and nurturing animals. Wherever she goes if there is an animal, she will always talk and pet it.

She loves meeting new customers and their pets and will make every visit and walk rewarding.
